This page explains what happens to the details you share with me through djjamescampbell.com. "I" and "me" means James Campbell, the DJ behind this website. If you have any questions, email me at jamescampbelldj@gmail.com.

What I collect

When you send an enquiry, I receive what you type into the form: your name, email address, and any event details you choose to share, such as the date, venue, guest numbers, budget, phone number and your message. This website itself doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Why I use it

Only to reply to your enquiry, check my availability, send you a quote and, if you book, plan and deliver your event. I don't add you to a mailing list from the enquiry form and I never sell your details.

Where it's kept

Enquiries are received through Netlify, which hosts this website, and arrive in my email inbox (Google). Both are trusted providers that may store data outside the UK, with safeguards in place. I keep your details only for as long as I need them to deal with your enquiry or booking, and for my business records.

Products and playlist submissions

Ebooks, calls, audits and campaigns are sold through Payhip, and playlist submissions go through SubmitHub. When you buy or submit there, those services handle your payment and details under their own privacy policies.

Fonts and the music player

This website loads its typeface from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers to download it.

The homepage includes a SoundCloud player so you can listen to my mixes. It's provided by SoundCloud, which may set its own cookies and collect information about how you use the player, under SoundCloud's privacy policy.

Your rights

You can ask me to show you the details I hold about you, correct them or delete them at any time. Just email me. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
